My story

Hi, my name is Donna! I am a beautiful, full-figured girl who is just bursting with love. I am so excited to find my new family, I can’t wait. I am about 4 years old and I weigh 51 pounds. I have more of a calm, quiet demeanor, really just a big love muffin and a very attentive listener. Leaning into you for love and being close is one of my favorite things, especially if I can get a belly rub out of it! The nice volunteers here at the rescue tell me they are sad that someone cropped my ears so short, they have been giving me lots of pets and talking so sweetly to me, it is really nice. I can be a little submissive and hand shy, so I need an experienced, confident adopter who is familiar with bully breeds and understands their need for leadership. I am really looking for someone to reassure and guide me. I am a very affectionate dog who craves closeness and will need a home that can give me the love and attention I need. I promise to be a wonderful, loving, and loyal companion who will love you forever. I will need a home where any children are at least 8 years old.
