My story

Hey. I’m Topaz — the one in charge around here… or at least, I like to think so. I’m the self-declared leader of the litter (don’t ask my siblings — especially Quartz — they’ll deny it).I might be small, but I’ve got a big personality and even bigger opinions. I carry myself like royalty, and honestly? I expect to be treated accordingly — snacks on demand, belly rubs at appropriate intervals, and a soft spot to nap while I supervise your daily activities.Now, about water: yeah, I do that too. But by “play,” I mostly mean curling up in it like a tiny, soggy prince. Kiddie pool? I’m in. Puddle? Even better. It’s not about the splash — it’s about the vibe.Before all this, I was in a kill shelter. I didn’t have a cozy bed or a backyard. Just noise, concrete, and a whole lot of waiting. But thanks to some kind humans, I got out and into a world where I could start ruling properly — one nap at a time.If you’re looking for a loyal shadow, an occasional lifeguard, and a very low-energy supervisor who gives great side-eye and even better cuddles… then guess what?You just found your Topaz.Let’s rule the nap kingdom together. 👑--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions.
