My story

Hey there! My name is Sam! A little about me... Well, the first thing people notice is my adorable underbite. I am just so cute. You would never know I was a severely underweight stray found by a good samaritan. You could count my ribs in the beginning. Even with my recent past, I’m amazingly sweet. I match your energy; I love to go on walks and play, but I also love to snuggle on the sofa and give you a few kisses. I'm up for whatever makes you happy! Nothing puts a bigger smile on my face than my human buddies! I do great with some dogs! If you have a dog, I'd love to have a meet & greet to see if we can be friends. My favorite things on Earth are: playtime with my human friends, balls, small stuffies I can toss in the air, people who give me treats, and FOOD. Yep, I'm fun, loving, and easy to please! Some more important details: I like cats! I am completely housetrained! I’m easy to teach…just show me the treats. I’ve been learning to sit, beg, and stay on command, and can’t wait to learn even more cool things. An ideal day for me would start out watching you make eggs and hope you drop some on the floor for me.... then we would nap on the sofa and we could cap off the day with me enjoying a peanut-butter Kong on the floor while you read. What will make me happiest in my forever home will be just to be near you. I'm content no matter what we're doing as long as I can sit by your feet. I guess you can say I'm a happy, super cute dog just looking for someone to rub my belly and love me forever and ever. I weigh about 12 lbs and am an estimated 3 years old. Adoption fee includes DHPP vaccine, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate) heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, wellness vet visit, one month of pet insurance and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian.
