My story

Stella is a smart and loyal German Shepherd looking for her perfect match. She knows her commands—“sit,” “down,” “come,” “give,” and “fetch”—and loves showing off her skills. Stella thrives on structure and would do best with someone who has experience with shepherds and understands her needs. Surrendered through no fault of her own, she’s ready to find a home where she’ll have the time, attention, and love she deserves. She has previously lived around other dogs. Stella is looking for a home with a breed-specific rescue or an experienced handler who understands the needs of a high-energy, working breed. She’s not suited for the average home; instead, she thrives in an environment where she can engage her mind and body with purpose. If you`re ready for a loyal, dedicated partner who is all business and eager to work, Stella could be the perfect fit.Stella is spayed. She currently weighs 86 pounds.If you are interested in meeting Stella, please visit the shelter during our open hours; Mon, Tues, Wed, Fri 10a-12:30p & 2p-4p, Thurs 10a-12:30p & 2p-6:30p, and Saturday 9a-1p. Adoption application can be filled out and approved during your meet-and-greet. If you have another dog in the home, plan to bring them for a meet before you complete the adoption!
