My story

Meet Mario, a sweet young pup who is just learning to come out of his shell and that people will be nice to him if he's brave. Mario is affectionate and playful, once he gets out of the kennel with you. He's just learning the ropes and is a little cautious with new experiences, but his little wiggly butt will be wagging in no time once he figures out he's safe. If you adopt Mario, you will have the great fortune of helping a dog grow into the confident and loving dog he is meant to be. He's also super cute and soft, and will be a most loyal companion. Come meet this gentle boy as soon as possible. Mario is currently in a foster home. If you're interested in him, please email KSwanson@cityofberkeley.info First, we'll set up a virtual meeting with their current foster family via phone, Zoom, or Facetime, to provide you with more detailed information. Then, if you feel that Mario might be a good adoption fit, shelter staff will gladly coordinate an up-close and personal meet and greet with your potential family member. Thank you for your support!
