Hey there, yeah you, look at me! I am asking you to just take a quick minute to look at me and hear all about how wonderful I am. I may not be a purebred Siamese or a Ragdoll or a beautiful Maine Coon BUT I am a purebred Tortoiseshell, that's for sure! I really live up to the known personality of a Tortie being very sweet, loving and really smart. I run through the house when I hear the bells on my toys. I love my foster friends and especially my foster mom. My brothers (twin Siamese) were adopted leaving me all by myself. I will need a friend to play with in my new home, so if you don't have another kitty we can pair me up with another foster kitten. I'm really good at making new friends. I love all the birds and squirrels I see outside. Since I am indoor only I get to watch them through the window while safe inside. It's scary out there. I'm all chasing toys and I love toes and when you wiggle them for me I will give you gentle kisses. Although I am not a big talker I do have a cute little meow and I let my foster mom know when I want her attention. Some things I bet you didn't know about my breed. I have a mixed coat of black, orange with a Sprinkle of some white and pretty green eyes. We are almost always female, the genes for my colors are linked to the X chromosome, which males only have one of. In other words, we rock! I have a vibrant personality, which is a known trait and my breed is often called sassy, independent, vocal and loyal to their person. Which I am all those things. It's called Tortitude! Tortie's often bond with one particular person while still being friendly and loving to all . I could be your soul mate forever. We are an independent breed, but of course we still need our humans! In some cultures, especially the United States Torties are considered "money cats" and are believed to bring good fortune. I'm kinda like a lottery ticket that's a winner. Also, some cultures, including Japanese, Irish and Celtic consider the Tortie good luck charms. In the Japanese culture the Tortie is believed to protect ships from bad storms and ghosts. Some legends even believe that Torties possess phychic powers and can glimpse into the future. I see you in my future, do you see me in yours? Their multi-colored fur connects to the divine feminine and powerful goddess energy. You go girl! My foster mom says I am spayed, vaccinated, FELV tested, dewormed, microchipped, eats wet and dry food, and is litterbox perfect. They say that's good! I currently live with my foster family in West Sacramento. Purebreds Plus Cat Rescue is dedicated to matching exceptional cats (like me) with qualified adopters who will cherish me and create an ideal forever home. If you believe you're my perfect adopter please explain why in the comments section of my Adoption Application, and contact Ellen at garyreason@gmail.com or 9167438324. If you are unable to reach Ellen please email info@purebredsplus.org. NOTE: We prefer families with children bring them to the adoption appointment. Why? This allows interaction between the children and the cat. This helps ensure they will be a good fit for each other. A mismatch between a child and a cat is not in anyone's best interests!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sprinkles, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
