Chubbs

My story

Chubbs was rescued from the same location as St. Patrick. He was removed along with 7 other cats. His life as a street cat wasn't a good one, the scars on his head are a constant reminder that he's been through a lot in the past. When he first came here he was shut down. He didn't eat or move in front of anyone . He was frozen in fear. Then one day out of the blue he got up and seemed like he wanted to greet his foster mom. She let him and the rest was history! He has been a loyal lap cat ever since! He greets his foster family daily with morning meows, before the door opens he's there patiently waiting to rub around their legs and tell them hello. Chubbs LOVES sitting in laps! If someone sits down and he notices he will stop what he's doing to come sit in it. Men, women, kids it doesn't matter to him he's sitting! He's a gentle giant that really enjoys playing with the foster kittens. He doesn't mind at all being picked up and honestly seems to enjoy it. He has used his litter box like a perfect gentlemen from day one. Chubbs is a very easy going guy and doesn't get upset about really anything at all. He isn't the biggest fan of belly rubs or dogs. But has tolerated his foster family's older dog. With proper acclimation and a calm dog he would probably be just fine.
