My story

Skeeter is looking for his FOREVER HOME We rescued this sweetheart on Sunday and he went to the vet today and is ready to find his Happily Ever After!! Skeeter was rescued in Georgia a few months ago with another beagle, Snoopy. They were brought to animal control in horrible shape. They were both extremely emaciated weighing half of what they should have and covered in fleas and ticks and full of parasites. We were able to bring Snoopy into rescue right away, and he has been adopted into a loving home. Now it’s Skeeter’s turn. We want to make sure we find him a home where he can be loved and cherished for the rest of his life. Skeeter is a 5 year old Beagle/Basset and weighs 35 lbs. He is Neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, and up to date with shots. He has many missing teeth and had tarter on his back teeth so he had a dental today, as well. He is potty trained and dog friendly. He is extremely sweet and loving and just wants a person of his own. He is a Velcro dog and wants to follow you everywhere, sit right with you on the couch and will even sleep with you if he’s allowed. He rides great in the car and will play fetch forever. He walks fair on the leash, but likes to follow his nose like all hounds do. He is in a loving foster home in Beverly Hills, Florida.
