My story

Meet Chester! Chester is a gentle soul with a shy but sweet demeanor. He does well in his crate and walks nicely on a leash, enjoying the chance to sniff and explore his surroundings. While he hasn’t been around small children, Chester does great with teens and gets along well with small dogs and cats. He’s still learning how to show affection and can be a bit reserved at first, especially with new people or situations. Chester prefers to take things at his own pace, giving himself time to process and build trust. Once he feels safe, his soft personality starts to shine through. He’s just beginning to learn the joys of playing with toys, and though he’s not overly energetic, he appreciates having a predictable routine. When it’s time to go into his kennel, he may get a little nervous but the uncertainty only lasts a few seconds before he settles in. Chester is a quiet, low-key companion with lots of potential to grow into a deeply loving and loyal friend. Watching him open up and connect with his caretakers is a rewarding journey, and he’ll thrive in a calm, patient home that gives him the space and time to bloom.
