My story

Meet Dumpling at The Rescue Crew's new cat adoption center - The PURRfect Match, located at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Hi there, I’m Dumpling — a sleek little black cat with a big heart, a playful spirit, and expert biscuit-making skills. At just over a year old, I’m full of curiosity and love being part of the action. Whether I’m chasing after toys, exploring new spaces, or hopping into your lap to take it all in, I’m happiest when I’m with my people. I’m extremely playful, always up for a game or two, and I’ll often let out a cheerful little meow to let you know I’m having fun. I’m also a total social butterfly — I get along great with other cats and I’m curious (but polite!) around dogs. I’d thrive in just about any loving home, especially one where I can stretch my legs, chase some toys, and spend time with my favorite humans. You can come meet me — and all my feline friends — at The PURRFECT Match Cat Adoption Center. I’ll be the one chasing a toy mouse and kneading biscuits with joy! Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
