My story

Meet Mittens at The Rescue Crew's new cat adoption center - The PURRfect Match, located at 14033 Round Lake Blvd NW in Andover. Hi, I’m Mittens — a gentle girl with a calm heart and the cutest little white paws you’ve ever seen. I’m about a year old, black with bright white mittens (hence the name!), and I’m just starting to settle into life at The PURRFECT Match Cat Adoption Center. While I’m still getting my bearings, I’ve been nothing but sweet, friendly, and easygoing with everyone I meet. So far, I seem to be just fine with other cats and pretty indifferent toward dogs — calm company suits me just fine. I’m not one for drama; I’d much rather enjoy a cozy nap, a soft head scratch, and quiet companionship. As I continue to settle in, we’re sure more of my lovely personality will shine through — but if you’re looking for a calm, affectionate companion with perfect little paws and a peaceful presence, I just might be your match. Come meet me at the adoption center — I’ll be waiting with a soft purr and a warm heart. Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota.
