Sadie Mae

My story

Sadie Mae is a 4 year old, 70ish lb, female Golden Retriever and her BFF is Oaklei... a 4 year old, 60ish lb, female Black Labrador Retriever sadly beig surrendered due to a family loss which changed things for everyone. These 2 are a very bonded pair and need to be adopted together as they have been together their whole lives. They are house-trained and sleep at night on their owners bed. They will need a home that can provide them with the daily exercise and direction they need to stay happy and healthy dogs and their new family will also have to have the patience to help them work through any adjustments they will have moving into a new home.  Both dogs are very sweet and loving, and they love to sit on the couch and be loved on. Our GRRAND volunteer says: "I had the honor of taking Oaklei and Sadie to the vet for a checkup and I got to play with them in the fenced field. These are very sweet, curious, and playful dogs and they love each other very much, but do their own sniffing and roaming in the field. They both love to be petted and also do well on a leash."
