My story

  Meet Willow! Willow is a 5-year-old, 6-pound fuzzy Chihuahua with a heart full of love and a gentle soul. She’s the perfect blend of sweet and snuggly—quiet (not a yapper!), house-trained, kennel-trained, and happiest when curled up next to her favorite human.   Willow enjoys car rides, does well at the groomer, and while she has a playful side, she definitely prefers cuddles over chaos.   Rescued from a puppy mill, Willow has spent the last 10 months learning what love and comfort feel like. She’s come so far and is now ready for a forever home where she can continue to blossom.   Due to her tiny size and sensitivity, Willow would do best in a home with no small children—or with older kids who understand how to be gentle with her. She hasn’t bitten, but she does get overwhelmed by very young children and may nip at their feet when stressed.   Willow’s ideal home would be a calm, quiet environment with someone who’s home often—a stay-at-home parent, retiree, or remote worker—who’s looking for a loyal little shadow to love.   If you’re looking for a soft, sweet companion to share your couch and your heart, Willow may just be your perfect match.
