My story

Every flower blooms in its own time and now it’s Lilac’s turn! Named after the delicate and sweet-smelling flower that symbolizes renewal, confidence and first love, our lovely Lilac is finally ready to start the next beautiful chapter of her life with you. Lilac came to us at the start of May from an overcrowded shelter, along with her sisters Sage, Rosemary and Lavender. Her sisters found their forever homes. But Lilac needed a little extra time to blossom. After a short health setback (a pesky fever that’s now long gone), she’s got a clean bill of health and a heart full of hope. This gentle girl is the perfect mix. Whether she’s curled up in a sunny window or offering you a slow blink of trust, Lilac is ready to fill your home with love and purrs. Lilac is spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, microchipped, and ready to meet her person. Could that be you? Bring Lilac home with you and watch love grow! The shelter is open Tuesdays through Fridays 3:30-6:30pm AND Saturdays & Sundays 1pm-4pm. No appointments are needed during those times. If you are not available during those times, special arrangements for a meet and greet may be able to be arranged by emailing arfcats@bereaanimalrescue.com.
