My story

Meet Josh 💙 -Foster Needed Josh was the very last dog rescued from a hoarding case involving over 50 dogs. As rescuers and animal control worked to remove dogs from the property, Josh quietly watched from his outdoor pen—waiting patiently for someone to come for him. And when we finally did, he greeted us with excitement, as if he knew his turn had finally come. Now safe in our care, Josh has been nothing but a joy. He went straight into boarding, where we quickly learned that he’s both dog- and people-friendly. He loves running around the yard with his new canine friends and soaking up attention from the staff. Josh is a senior, estimated to be around 10 or 11 years old. We may never know how long he lived in confinement or how much he endured, but one thing is certain: his past will not define his future. Now that he’s free, Josh deserves to spend the rest of his life knowing comfort, kindness, and unconditional love. If you’re looking for a gentle, soulful companion who just wants to be included and loved—Josh is your guy. Help us give him the happy ending he’s waited so long for.
