My story

Hi there, I’m Mickey! I’m a sweet, super affectionate, and incredibly friendly beagle boy who’s looking for a furever home! I was rescued from an animal testing laboratory— did you know that thousands of innocent dogs like me are used in experimental research trials every year? Now that I’m safe in a loving foster home, I can’t wait to find an adopter! I love to cuddle more than anything and have SO much love to give. Looking for a snuggle buddy or a couch potato companion? I’m your guy! I adore every person that I meet and do amazing with other dogs! I have never met a stranger, as I become instant BFF’s with everyone that I encounter. I’m working on shedding a few pounds per vet recommendation, so I hope that my new family will help encourage me to play and exercise so I can be as healthy as possible! I’d also feel so lucky to have another pup sibling in my forever home, as well as an adopter with a flexible schedule, as I can get pretty nervous when I’m left alone for too long. In return, I promise to be your most loyal companion ever and give you endless kisses and tail wags for the rest of my days! My ideal home: A household with another friendly dog, an adopter with a schedule that allows them to spend a majority of their time with me!
