My story

Say hello to Pot Roast! He is a 1 year old Lab mix who weighs about 32 pounds. Pot Roast came from a sad situation where he was living with multiple other dogs and wasn`t being cared for properly. Because of his past, he is very nervous with new people and new situations, so he will take some to trust his new family. Since arriving in our care he has come out of his shell and has made friends with staff and has shown how sweet and cuddly he can be. He will take some time to adjust to his new home so he would love to have a patient adopter that understands that he will need time to gain confidence. He has lived with dogs in the past, but he is very reactive with new dogs, so a slow introduction is a must! With a bit of time, he seems to enjoy other dogs and could show potential to live in a home with another dog. Due to his shy nature, if there are kids in his forever home he would prefer older teenagers or an adult only home. Pot Roast is a goofy pup who will surely bring plenty of joy into your life.
