How this pet arrived: Western was brought in by a community member on June 7, 2025.Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Western - outlaw turned softie (on his terms, of course). Once known for his fierce side-eye and a hiss that could knock your boots off, Western has slowly hung up his spurs and started warming up to his human posse. These days, he's been spotted accepting gentle pets and even (gasp) initiating social interactions - a real glow-up for this former lone ranger. Western will need a room of his own to start - think cozy hideouts, no tumbleweeds, and a door that closes - so he can adjust at his own pace. No sudden rodeo tricks, please: let Western call the shots when it comes to cuddles. He'll come around with the right combo of treats, tasty food, and maybe a feather toy showdown or two. Because of his cautious nature, Western isn't looking to be the sheriff of a bustling town - no young kiddos, and he's not looking to wrangle with rowdy dogs either (a calm, cat-savvy pup might earn a tip of the hat). Introductions to new people should be slow and respectful - no stampedes. Don't forget to bring a secure cat carrier for the ride home - Western may be tame(ish) now, but he still likes to keep folks on their toes. Yeehaw.Shy/Fearful Cat: Western requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about them. Primary Color: Brown Secondary Color: Tabby Weight: 6.32 Age: 0yrs 9mths 0wks
