My story

Hi, my name`s Rey Mysterio! I`m named after a wrestler because I like to act and think like I`m a big tough guy, even though I am actually small and usually timid. I am hoping to find my furever home where my family will accept my duality, and love me for who I am. I spook easily, especially around strangers, so any kids in the home must be 13 and older, who will respect my boundaries. I have shown some barrier reactivity here in the kennel, which may translate into the home, so I will probably need counter-conditioning training. However, once I let my guard down I am snuggly and enjoy TLC from people I trust. I like being around other dogs, and would likely enjoy having a canine companion. I am not sure how I feel about cats but I am willing to try with proper introduction. Although I may seem intimidating with my big boy bark, I only use it because behind the facade is a scared and lonely pup who just needs a chance.
