386-383-7705 ADOPT LOVEY- an affectionate cat who loves to be in your lap. This adoption is NOT through Furry Nation Salvation and is a Courtesy Post. Please call the individual listed below with any further questions or to set up a time to meet the pet. Thank you. Please call/text this number if interested: 386-383-7705 Cat located in this city: Daytona Beach, FL Cat’s Name: Lovey Cat’s Age & Sex: Guessing around 2-3 years old.Female Cat’s vetting history (spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped): Spayed & vaccinated , no microchip. Animals story: (where found and reason for wanting to rehome): We found this sweet cat outside of our house. She is very sweet and calm, and very domesticated. We believe someone might have moved and left her here. We have been taking care of her, however we cannot keep her as a pet. We have tried to look for her owner and have met multiple people, however none of them believed this was their cat. She is so sweet and she deserves a home. Personality (shy, social, likes to be held, lap cat? Likes or dislikes): Very sweet and calm, not a huge fan of being held, doesn’t scratch up anything. She likes to climb onto your lap and sleep, and likes having her back scratched. She also likes a fish toy that we got her, along with a cardboard scratching toy we got her. Any Supplies that go with pet (food, litter, leash, cat box, bedding, toys): A nice pet carrier, the fish toy, and the cardboard scratching toy. What food is the cat eating (dry only, dry and wet): We feed her dry food but have just learned why wet food is actually vital to all cats health. We hope the next owner will feed her wet food daily (more info below). :::::::::::Please know that cats need canned wet food given DAILY. Why? Because cats have a low thirst drive and actually NEED the moisture from the wet food! Wet food is 75 % water (dry FOOD only 10%) and giving them wet food daily will help them avoid Urinary tract issues (which can lead to litter box avoidance), kidney disease, obesity issues linked to diabetes and cardiac issues. You will save on vet bills too! Limit the overly processed dry food and ensure cat eats all the wet food daily. At the VERY minimum each cat should get one 3oz. can of wet food a day or HALF of a 5.5oz. can a day (although we recommend double this). :::::::::::: More info here: FurryNationSalvation.Org/wetfood IF YOU WANT TO ADOPT: 1) Please show up with a cat carrier 2) Small adoption fee of: $35 3) I will call/text one month from adoption day just to make sure everything is going well 4) Please show up with your Driver's License. 5) Information sheet will be filled out (your information as well as mine) *Please know, that when you bring your newly adopted cat or kitten home, it is always BEST to place him/her in a very small room (bathroom works great) with their litter box, food, water, and bed for a few days to a few weeks. This way the animal can adjust much quicker and get acclimated to the new environment with less stress. All cats/kittens need time to adjust, so if you adopt please allow this. Thank you. Call/text me if interested in this kitty: 386-383-7705
If you have any questions or would like to adopt LOVEY (lap kitty), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
