Hello, my name is: Mia BiaDOB: 04/21/2019Sex/Breed: Spayed female Great DaneWeight: 116 lbsRescued From: ACCT PhillyThe resiliency of dogs is astounding! Mia Bia knew the comfort of a loving home, but found herself in a kennel at an overcrowded shelter. She was unsure of why she ended up there, but despite everything was sweet with everyone. Her previous family claimed they did not have the resources or space to keep her happy. Thankfully, we had a foster willing to give her all the things she needed and deserved, so she strolled out of her kennel and back into the comforts of home. Mia has been a lovely house guest since the moment she arrived! She is house trained, walks like a dream on leash, loves rides in the car, and is eager to please. Mia is sharing her foster home with other dogs and loves to romp and play with them. She’d be okay with dog-savvy cats too. Don’t be fooled by her age, this gal still has spurts of energy to burn! She’d love to find a home with a big fenced in yard she can bound around in. We don’t think she knows that she is a giant dog, so she is a “knock you over” risk if she isn’t paying attention to where she’s going, but it’s all in good fun… she wouldn’t hurt a fly! Mia is also a snuggler, whether it’s with her people or with her canine pals.
