My story

Madeline, affectionately called Maddie, is a 7-month-old Boxer mix with a heart full of love and a whole-body wiggle to prove it! Maddie is an incredibly sweet and affectionate pup who absolutely adores people. Her tail wags so enthusiastically that her entire body gets in on the action, and she’s happiest when she’s near her humans.She’s in foster with a 6-year-old dog and a cat, and she does really well with both.. She’s very responsive to other dogs’ body language and cues, which is wonderful for such a young pup.Maddie walks beautifully on a leash - she stays close and pays attention, often looking right up at her handler. She’s calmly curious about other dogs and people and has a mellow, low-energy vibe in public settings, making her a joy to take out and about. We recently took her to a busy brewery, and she was a superstar. She remained calm, relaxed, and even took a nap while there.This sweet girl appears to be crate-trained and sleeps soundly through the night. She rides calmly in the car while crated in the back seat, making travel stress-free for everyone.Maddie is an absolute gem who will make a fantastic addition to the right home. Whether she’s curled up at your feet or trotting alongside you on a walk, she’s happiest just being part of the family. She’s sweet, smart, and ready to love.
