Detective Fierce

My story

Calm, Sweet, Playful If you’re on the search for a sweet, trusting kitty, Detective Fierce is on the case! And by that, we mean introducing you to him in hopes he’s the perfect match. Despite his scrappy looks, Detective Fierce is all lover zero fighter. As soon as his foster walks into the room, Detective Fierce will get up to greet them (which is usually preceded by one of his trademark stretches: front legs on the floor and back legs on the couch). Then he makes his way over to rub up against their legs. And if you sit down, Detective Fierce will attach himself to you like velcro. He loves to snuggle up close and position his head under your hand so you’ll pet him. When it comes to getting attention from people, age does not matter to Detective Fierce. He enjoys his visits from the six and nine-year-old kids in his foster home and wants their love too. They love throwing his toys to him and even hand deliver his food and water to him (what service)! He would be a great fit in a home with kids. In foster, Detective Fierce currently spends his days in his own room separate from the resident cats. He’s very content in there and doesn’t cry out for attention, but happily accepts all the attention you want to give him when you pay him a visit. Because of the separation from the other cats, Detective Fierce hasn’t had a chance to meet them up close, but there have been some sniffs from through the door. Even though the other cats have hissed at him, he has had no reactions. Detective Fierce is also loving all the playtime he’s getting in foster. The moment you bring out a toy, he’s obsessed. His current favorites have been the mouse toy and string toy, and he’s pretty good at hunting those, if he doesn’t say so himself. He may not give super high energy playful cat vibes, but Detective Fierce loves his playtime! He’s so friendly and comfortable around people though that his appearance is really the only thing that suggests he was on the streets. Based on how much he loves people, we’re pretty confident Detective Fierce is happy to leave that life behind and can’t wait to find many more days of love and attention in his forever home! All APA! cats are fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and have updated vaccines and a microchip. Lifetime support is offered by our Cat Behavior Team.
