My story

 Meet Bixby, the pup who packs  50 pounds of personality in a 10 pound bucket!  This pint-size pipsqueek is believed to be a shi-poo (shitzu poodle) about 6 years old.   Don't let his pint size fool you though- this little guy wants to PLAY. If there were a contest for most playful pup on the planet - he'd take the grand prize! He LOVES playing with other dogs, but he also plays with his human and solo with his toys. You'd think with all that playing he'd be too busy to snuggle, but nope! Bixby is also a sweet-as-syrup, stage 5 clinger who wants ALL the love an cuddles he can get from his humans...and then a few more.   **Given his VERY playful nature, we are only considering adopters who have another PLAYFUL dog at home to be Bixby's new bestie.** This smart little boy quickly caught on to house manners and has been a rockstar at pottying outside. He shows zero interest in marking (even on walks!)   When he's not begging his foster pals to play with him, he adores neighborhood walks, meeting new people, raiding the toy box and occasionally howling... at absolutely nothing. When it's time to wind down for the night (yes, we promise, he really does power down), he curls up in his foster mom's bed and sleeps peacefully through the night. He does NOT like a crate and will let you (and the neighbors) know it.    He has not been tested with cats but based on his lack of interest in wildlife, it seems like he would be harmless. Bixby will require regular professional grooming.
