My story

*** Zero is in a foster home. ***Zero #19824: brown ticked tabby w/ white, short hair, spayed female, born approx. 12/8/23 Cats: comfortableDogs: unknownChildren: savvy elementary+ BACKGROUND: A Good Samaritan found a heavily pregnant Zero in labor, but no kittens were forthcoming and she seemed to be having trouble. When this continued for several days, her benefactor got very worried and contacted an independent rescuer who got her an emergency c-section; unfortunately, all the kittens had died by then. Zero remained hospitalized until she recovered in full. The Rescue House was then asked if we could help Zero find a loving home.PERSONALITY: Zero is very happy to be living with humans! She will demand your attention, rubbing her head against your legs and hands while keeping her purr motor at maximum. She likes to lick your hands and will let you pick her up and give her belly rubs… pets are just wonderful! Zero is so happy to have your attention that she can sometimes get overexcited and those hand licks become love nibbles; they’re not hard, but her foster is working to reassure her that she is very loved and to reduce the nibbling habit. Zero is a playful and active kitty who enjoys batting toys around and chasing after wand teasers you move around for her. She likes to be brushed, wants lots of human contact and interaction, and is a huge sweetheart. COMPATIBILITY: Zero is comfortable with other cats and would do well with another independent and playful kitty who can stand their ground. She can get jealous about sharing human attention, so it’s best to have multiple humans if there are multiple cats. We don’t know her thoughts on dogs. Cat-savvy children elementary aged and up who understand she means no harm when she gives a love nibble should be fine. Zero is very human-oriented and loves company!Will this sweetheart win you over?
