My story

This gorgeous GSD pup is Rhubarb! She arrived at the shelter as a lost girl on 6/11, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim her. Rhubarb came in with a sister who was adopted immediately. We're sure she's a little sad and confused to be sitting all by herself in a loud, overwhelming shelter. The volunteers describe Rhubarb as everything a puppy should be: friendly, outgoing, and playful! She is an energetic little lady who is enthusiastic about life! She is also very smart and knows several commands including sit, lay down, and shake. Rhubarb is still a pup so she is jumpy when excited, but with a little patience and consistency, she can learn not to jump up. If you have the time and energy to welcome a puppy into your heart and home, please come meet Rhubarb! Rhubarb is approximately 7 months old and weighs 42 lbs. She will most likely be a medium-large sized dog when fully grown. She is UTD on vaccines, has been spayed, and did test negative for heartworms. She will be microchipped upon adoption. Rhubarb is waiting patiently in run 835; her ID # is 10798. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
