My story

Tinkerbell is a resilient adult dog with a gentle heart and a remarkable story. She’s recovering from a past femur fracture and is looking for a calm, supportive foster home where she can continue to heal and regain her strength. Despite her medical history, Tinkerbell remains sweet-natured and hopeful, ready to enjoy the comforts of a safe environment and the kindness of a caring companion.Reason for Foster: Orthopedic pain management/History of femur fractureFoster Time Frame: 2 weeks(The foster time frame may be longer depending on future rechecks and medical needs.Foster Care Plan: History of femur fracture. Surgery was performed to place plate and pin. Tinkerbell needs strict rest until fracture healed and must be on leash for short walks to go potty. No jumping or running or free access to larger spaces. We will provide a medical consultation at your pickup appointment and the Foster team will supply all necessary items for a successful foster journey. Foster to Adopt: Tinkerbell is available for our Foster to Adopt Program, which allows pets to be placed with prospective adopters before they become available for adoption.
