My story

Fresh off the road from Shasta County, 10-year-old Pinky has arrived in San Francisco with a warrior’s spirit and a heart full of hope. This beautiful tabby has already faced down some serious challenges, she underwent a chain mastectomy to remove a low-grade carcinoma in her left mammary glands, and like the seasoned pro she is, handled it with grace, grit, and a few well-timed purrs.The great news? Her biopsy came back with no signs of remaining cancer. Pinky: 1, cancer: 0.She`s currently finishing her recovery with the help of the Cone of Triumph (AKA: the cone of shame), which she’ll be rocking until June 29th. Think of it as her victory crown, it just happens to be shaped like a satellite dish.Despite everything she’s been through, Pinky is showing us her quiet sweetness and gentle curiosity. She may take a moment to settle into new surroundings, but once she feels safe, she offers affectionate head bumps and calm companionship like the seasoned soul she is.If you`re looking for a cat with inner strength, outer beauty, and an incredible comeback story, Pinky is your girl.
