My story

Zeke is a friendly, affectionate little guy with a big personality and a soft spot for the humans he trusts. With his adorable brown and white tabby coat, expressive eyes, and sweet demeanor, Zeke is the kind of cat who makes a quiet but unforgettable impression. Once he knows you, he lights up with joy—chirping, rubbing up against you, and even giving sweet kisses. His story is a special one. Zeke was discovered as a tiny kitten—barely 4 weeks old—crying alone under a car on Lullaby Lane in Anaheim. At the time, his finder had just completed a major TNR (trap, neuter, return) project on the street and thought all the females and litters had been accounted for. So when a neighbor called to report a lone kitten, it was a complete surprise. He had no mama in sight, and it was unclear where he came from or how he’d survived on his own. After successfully trapping him using soft mom cat calls, he was brought home with no plan beyond food, warmth, and safety. For the first couple of weeks, he was given space to decompress and was fed, litter box scooped, and not being overly handled. Then one day, out of nowhere, Zeke walked right up to the front of his crate and started loving on his finder like they had been best friends forever. Since then, Zeke has shown just how loyal and bonded he can be. While he’s still a bit unsure around new people, once he knows you, he knows you. He gets excited when he hears familiar voices, meows for attention, and melts into affection. He’s playful, smart, and full of heart. Zeke would thrive in a calm home where he can bond with his person at his own pace, plus a kitty friend. He may have started out as a feral kitten, but he’s blossomed into a sweet, loving companion who just needed a chance.
