My story

Itsy Itsy was picked up just outside the gates of Big Canoe. Her rescuer, and now Foster Mom, brought her to us to be scanned for a chip because we could not believe this little one didn’t have a person. Well, she didn’t, and because our kennel was full, she went home with her rescuer and foster Mom. She is a wonderful houseguest and gets along with the two small dogs who live there, and a grandchild who visits often. Because she was the smallest dog in our care, volunteers began calling her “Itsy Bitsy”, which was quickly shortened to just Itsy. She is in the process of getting her remaining shots and will be scheduled soon to be spayed. That won’t hold up this little one! She is ready for her forever home. All BCAR dogs are placed as indoor family pets. No electric fences, please.
