Bully

My story

His name may be Bully, but he is very shy and more likely to be bullied than the other way around. This 3 year old pit mix with the cute eye patch arrived as a stray. We know that he did live in a home with children a couple years ago, but we have no info on what has happened to him during that gap. Bully needs a calm home with patient people who will understand that Bully needs a bit of time and space to come out of his shell and trust that he is safe and loved. If you`ve ever won the love and trust of a shy dog, you know how special it is! We hope that when he gets back in a home environment he will blossom into the amazing pet that is waiting to shine through.Bully is also scared in dog play groups currently. Like all our adult dogs, Bully will need to meet future canine companions before going home. Our shelter staff will lead their introductions in a safe environment to see if they are compatible. At the main campus, you can bring your dog along when you come for adoptions if you like. Bully is neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, and ready for a loving forever home!
