My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Once upon a time, Sugar, a 12 week old tortoiseshell kitten, lived in a magical forest. Her sweetness was so potent that she could charm even the grumpiest gnome. Curious and smart, she loved exploring the enchanted woods, making friends with mystical creatures. One day, while chasing a glittering butterfly, she stumbled upon a magical portal. It led her to DPS Rescue, a haven for magical creatures. It was a world full of love and warmth, where Sugar's cuddly nature shone. She quickly became everyone's favorite. She is now ready to share her magical sweetness with a loving family. She would be a great friend for an existing cat or cat savvy dog in the home. She also would be an option for a home with children.
