My story

Cello is a true love bug who adores everyone she meets and loves showering her people with affection!She is excellent with dogs, cats, and horses, showing a gentle respectful nature with all. While she likes to play with other pups, her play style is gentle, and she is very tolerant of her bratty little foster brother!This girl is incredibly smart and highly treat motivated – which makes training a breeze! She has already started to master many basic commands in her short time with us. Her love for treats does make it hard for her to resist a tasty snack she might find on a reachable table if she thinks nobody is looking, but she has zero food aggression and takes treats gently. Cello is truly a gem when it comes to manners. She is mostly housebroken and a pro at using a puppy pad if she does have an accident in the house. This smart kiddo already understands that toys and bones are fair game, but anything else is off-limits; she hasn’t chewed a single thing that wasn’t hers!While she is great on leash and excellent off-leash (she always stays by my side or nearby on the farm), Cello is a pretty low-key girl at heart. Her favorite activity is taking naps and cuddling up inside with her humans. We are diligently working to improve her skin with regular baths and hydration, and are seeing some great progress. Cello is dying to find her forever family! It seems she would do great in a household with other pets and while she hasn’t been around children yet, her tolerant and gentle nature suggests she’d do wonderfully.
