My story

Chanterelle Female black DSH Estimated DOB: 3/27/25 About: Meet Chanterelle, a petite tabby girl with a big heart and even bigger dance moves. The last of her litter still waiting for a home, Chanterelle has watched her siblings get adopted one by one. While she’s handling it like a champ, you can tell she misses the snuggles and chaos of kitten life with a crew. This little lady has a striking black tabby coat that photos simply can’t do justice. But it’s her personality that really steals the show. When she’s feeling playful, Chanterelle breaks into her signature sideways hops, silly little struts that look like she’s rehearsing the Thriller dance! She’s also a sweetheart. Chanterelle loves having her cheeks and ears scritched, and she’ll melt into your hands when you give her attention. She’s been fostered with other kittens, an adult cat, and two dogs, and she’s gotten along with everyone—though lately, she’s been a bit lonely without her siblings. Chanterelle would thrive in a home with another friendly cat, but she’ll also do just fine as your one and only, as long as she has companionship and love. If you’re looking for a gentle, quirky companion who will entertain you with her goofy antics and stay by your side during movie nights, Chanterelle is ready to be your girl. Backstory: Chanterelle came in as a stray with her 4 siblings. Location: Currently in foster Medical: All cats are spayed/neutered, current on age appropriate vaccines (rabies and distemper), microchipped, given flea/tick prevention and de-wormer, FIV/FeLV tested, and any other veterinary care that is needed prior to adoption.
