My story

Sweet senior Harley stops to smell the flowers and loves children - can you love her back? Harley is 10 years young and weighs 54 lbs. She is a zesty gal, full of life, and with a spring in her steps. She is playful and affectionate, wanting to be by your side and make you happy. Harley does great with children but would do best in a only pet home, as she has been reactive to dogs in the past. Harley previously lived with other dogs and children for many years; so there may be future potential, but for now must be separated from other pets. Harley is super smart and knows sit, come, stay, and down. Harley was adopted from the shelter in 2020, but recently returned when her owner lost her home. Upon learning she had been returned to the shelter, we got a very temporary foster to get her out, but now she needs her true retirement home. We suspect that Harley recently gave birth right before being dumped at the shelter; Harley has not had very good luck lately but deserves to spend her golden years knowing warm, gentle love. Can you be the one to turn her luck around? Harley is currently in Freehold, NY. Harley is housebroken, fully vetted, spayed, up to date on her vaccines, microchipped and ready to be your best friend!
