My story

Emmett is an estimated 5-6 month old mixed male puppy who is looking for his forever home! He recently has been kicking a case of kennel cough so we did have to postpone his neuter but now that he is starting to feel better we would love to get him in his forever home to start acclimating to his new routine while awaiting his neuter. So far Emmett is showing us how much he loves to make his person happy: - He is doing excellent with crate training. He sometimes will cry when he sees you when he's in it because he is excited. However he sleeps overnight without a peep! - He is learning leash walking and enjoys going on a stroll. - He is great with children and other dogs. - He is a shadow and loves to follow his people. Please note that his adopter will have to transport him to his neuter appointment on July 8th at our Irving Park neighborhood clinic. If you have questions before applying please email adopt@chicagorescueauthority.org. His adoption fee includes up to date vaccines and prevention, neuter, and microchip. Our adoption radius is within 3 hours of Chicago however due to his neuter appointment at this time it is reduced to 2 hours.
