Laken

My story

H-hi, my name is Laken and I'm kinda shy. I LOVE other cats and get along great with the three in my foster home and even the new foster kittens. Humans still make me a little nervous, but I have grown to like them way more than I first did. I'm open to pets when you are feeding me and giving me a treat (which I love to chase). I've even been known to allow some pets and scritches when you're calm and I'm calm. So I may need a little more love to fully warm up, but my foster family is sure I will.   I would do wonderfully in a house with other cats. I love to play and chase and tussle and if you have any mice I will probably find them. I love to sit in windows and watch the outside world go by. I will also meow to let you know when I want something, so in that way I'm brave.   Oh, and did I mention I am quite the handsome boy? I have a beautiful and very soft gray coat with white mittens and chest. And I'm told I have gorgeous pale green eyes. I know I don't always make it easy to pet me, but you get a great reward when I do.    My sister, who was already adopted, and I were out in the cold world until we were about six months old and then we had some health issues that we were treated for. I've been very healthy since coming to my foster home. Come and meet me, I might be shy, but you and I might just become best friends.   This cat has been combo-tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV, received all age-appropriate vaccinations and is altered.June 22, 2025, 10:35 pm
