My story

Meet Peach 6–7yrs | 4kg | Spayed Female | Black Poodle ‍ Personality with People Peach is incredibly affectionate and friendly—not just with people she knows, but also with strangers. She loves rubbing against people and welcomes gentle petting, even from those she’s just met. She hasn’t had a chance to meet children under 13, but her sweet nature suggests she’d likely do well with them. She’s comfortable being picked up with arms under her belly and will even show her tummy to new people. Personality with Other Dogs Peach is equally friendly with other dogs. She enjoys approaching both familiar and unfamiliar dogs to say hello and invite them to play. She gets along well with various dog friends, especially those her size. She generally ignores larger dogs and prefers to hang out with similar-sized companions. While she may feel a little overwhelmed by dogs with very high energy, she’s not reactive—even if another dog tries to provoke her. Cats Peach shows some curiosity when she sees cats during walks, but she remains calm and is easily redirected. She is considered cat-testable. Energy Level Peach has a moderate energy level. She enjoys outdoor activities but knows how to settle down quietly afterward. Walking Skills She walks well on a leash without pulling and stays close to her handler. She enjoys quiet walking routes, though she may need a little practice getting used to busier areas with lots of cars or people. Other Notes Peach is not food-aggressive with people or dogs. While she currently shows no signs of separation anxiety, she’s used to being around other dogs. So, if she’s adopted into a single-dog household or left alone for extended periods, she may show some separation anxiety during the adjustment period. She rides quietly in a crate and rarely barks. Peach is mostly house-trained and prefers to potty outdoors. Rescue Story Peach was rescued from a puppy mill. Send in your application today!!! https://Adoptmekr.org/adoption-application/ Currently in Korea, will be arriving in Toronto on June 29th!
