My story

Munchie Muffin A17574592 lb. spayed female, approx 6 years old -Walks nicely on a leash despite her size. She’s a hefty gal who needs more walks and less snacks. (Same girl….same!)-She loves snacks! She will sit for them and takes them nicely after an “easy” reminder. Once I asked her to be “easy” she was super gentle.-She’s spunky and fun-Playful and likes toys-Does small little zoomies-She enjoys pets and giving kisses-Good girl!-Seems non reactive to dogs nearby and may do well living with a fur sibling after slow and proper intros Unknown behavior with dogs/cats/kids•Meet all of our adoptable pets on our website friendsofdacc.org/adopt •Please keep in mind that the shelter can be a very stressful environment. •Studies show that a minimum of 3 days decompression drastically lower stress hormones and allow the dog to show more personality after they have settled in. •There is a suggested donation of $100 for our dogs, payable by cash, check or through paypal at the time of the adoption. •To meet them please go to front door and a DACC staff member will assist you with adoption or fostering. **And when coming to meet one of our dogs, please bring all the humans with you, but leave any current dogs at home. Staff will go over how to slowly and properly introduce them after a decompression period.** •The shelter is open 7 days a week from 10:30-5:30 **1431 E Ferry St. Detroit
