Name:   Helen          Best Guess for Breed:   Retriever/Lab Mix   Best Guess for Age:   2 years 4 months as of June 2025         SEX:   Female   Approximate Weight:   42 lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs, and kids. No cats please!    Currently Living at:   Shelter, needs a foster or forever home!   Special adoption considerations:    Dogs from Puerto Rico have a major transition to go through when they arrive and will need humans who are very committed to socialization. We think Helen would do best with either a resident dog or a family who can make sure she can go on walks regularly with other dogs, visit the dog park, or go to doggie daycare to learn the ropes.   Helen is Looking For:   A safe place to call home!  Helen was rescued  from a hoarding situation by the police. She's READY for her fresh start and would love an active family who likes to run and play with her, and snuggle with her once the day is done.  She's already blossomed since being rescued and she's looking for a family that will continue to nurture her! She's wonderful with other dogs and kids and will be an easy addition to any family home  Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
