My story

Meet Anna Marie! Anna Marie is a sweet, independent girl who loves being near her people without ever being pushy—she’s a respectful queen who won’t beg at the table but will happily keep you company. Turns out she’s actively super chill and happy to sit on the couch. She’d be happy in an active home but she’s also totally happy lounging on the couch all day. Anna Marie is dog-friendly, though her play style can be a little on the rough-and-tumble side. She`s done well interacting with the resident dogs in foster and is respecting their boundaries. This goofy pittie is potty trained, crate trained, and has great manners. She takes treats gently, knows “sit” and “lay,” and is respectful around food. While she’s not overly food motivated, she’s always happy to show off her skills for a tasty snack. She’s also been a perfect angel in her crate, with no destructive behavior or anxiety beyond a brief whine that settles quickly. Anna Marie isn’t overly cuddly but enjoys affection on her own terms—belly rubs are a favorite! Most of all, she just wants a home where she can hang out with her people, enjoy some adventures, and maybe share a hamburger now and then.
