My story

Affectionate & sweet: This lovable guy will trot right over to climb halfway into your lap, soaking up pets like he’s been waiting his whole life for them. Eager to please: Praises and treats are his love language. He responds to “sit,” takes treats with a gentle mouth, and calmly waits to be leashed. Easy walking buddy: Ricky has mostly lovely leash manners, enjoying a sniffy stroll but may sometimes pull when excited, especially around other dogs. Healing soul: Though he arrived with multiple injuries, his spirit is soft, trusting, and ready for healing in a home filled with kindness. Ricky is ideal in a home with well-matched dogs or as a cherished solo companion.
