ALL ABOUT ME  Name: Kotong Age : Around 4 yrs old Gender: Male Spayed/Neutered: Yes Breed: Maltipoo Colour: Cream Weight: 8kg / 18lbs Microchipped: Yes   MY RESCUE STORY Hi everyone! I’m Kotong, a gentle soul with a big heart and a story that’s taken a turn for the better. I was abandoned on a highway, too scared to move—just standing there, hoping my owner would come back for me. But they never did. I was eventually taken to a city pound, and because of overcrowding, I ended up on the euthanasia list.   Thankfully, some kind rescuers saw me and stepped in just in time. When they brought me in, I was in rough shape—so hungry I had swallowed stones just to survive. But those hard days are behind me now. I’m healthy, safe, and full of love, ready to start fresh. I can’t wait to find a forever family who’ll show me the kindness I’ve been waiting for all along.   MY HEALTH - Fully vaccinated (5-round series complete) - In good health, with no known medical issues   MY PERSONALITY I’m a gentle, kind-hearted, and handsome boy who’s ready to steal your heart the moment we meet. Despite my rough past, I haven’t lost my love for people or my affectionate nature. I thrive on connection—I love being around humans and will happily roll over to show you my belly, just to let you know how much I trust you. Everyone who meets me says I look like a little doll, and they swear I’m even cuter in person than in photos. I open up quickly, and once I do, I’ll be your loyal, loving companion through and through. Whether it’s snuggling up for a nap or just being by your side, I’m here to bring comfort, joy, and lots of love into your life.   MY SOCIAL SKILLS With People: I truly love being around people and enjoy meeting new friends—pets, cuddles, and attention are always welcome! I have a soft spot for gentle kids and will happily take treats from them. I’m also the perfect size for snuggles, and you can easily scoop me up (I won’t mind one bit!). Once I feel safe, I’ll roll over and show you my belly—it’s my way of saying I trust you. I don’t guard my food or toys, and I’m happiest just being close to you, sharing quiet moments and lots of love.   With Dogs: I enjoy saying hello to other dogs, but I like to take my time before diving into play. I usually feel most comfortable with dogs around my size and get along well with them. I tend to be easygoing and peaceful—even if another dog is a bit rude, I’ll quietly walk away rather than cause a fuss. I also don’t guard my food around other dogs, so mealtime is calm and drama-free.   With Cats:  I haven’t met any cats yet, but with slow, gentle introductions and some patience, I’m confident I could learn to live peacefully alongside a feline friend.   ENERGY AND ACTIVITIES I have a moderate energy level—I enjoy spending time outdoors exploring, but I also love to snuggle up and relax indoors.   TRAINING & HABITS I usually follow my handler’s lead well on leash, though I might pull a little when I get excited. I’m a pretty quiet pup and I know how to rest calmly in my kennel. I’m comfortable with both indoor and outdoor potty routines, so I adapt easily.   MY IDEAL HOME I’m looking for a patient, loving family who can help guide and let me become my best self. I’ll thrive in a home with: - A family who can provide me with a calm, structured, and safe environment. - A family who likes to do outdoors activities and spend time together. - A family that can shower me with love and attention.   SPECIAL NOTES I’m truly ready to meet my special person and become a cherished part of your family. I’m an easy-going, friendly boy with an undeniable charm—people say I’m ridiculously adorable! I trust others so easily that the volunteers and staff sometimes worry I might follow just anyone with my whole heart. But there’s more to me than cute looks—I have a gentle, calm soul that makes me the perfect companion for someone who’s looking for both love and loyalty. Could that special someone be you?
