My story

Oh my, just look at those eyes! They’re truly mesmerizing! Indigo is a gorgeous 9-month old, 38-pound Husky/Lab mix who is friendly toward everyone, super active, very outgoing, and a huge cuddler. This silly girl actually thinks she’s a lap dog! A high energy gal, Indigo absolutely loves playing with other dogs and requires a lot of daily exercise. She enjoys going on long walks and has a particularly good time in areas where she can let loose and run around. Indigo needs some work on her leash manners, but she responds well to correction and redirection, especially if a treat is involved. Indigo is 100% housebroken and will chill in her crate when directed to do so. She likes toys and has no trouble entertaining herself with a chew bone for a decent amount of time. Indigo seems to match the room’s energy, so if you want her to be calm while in the home, you need to be calm. Likewise, if the environment is high energy, Indigo will be high energy. Indigo would benefit from a home with a fenced-in yard where she can romp around and get her yaya’s out on a regular basis. Hey, the girl’s an elite athlete! Once Indigo has had adequate stimulation, this beauty queen is ready for all the love and hugs you’re willing to offer. She’s extremely snuggly and mushy and prefers to know where her human is most of the time. Smart as a whip, Indigo learned sit and paw in one day and responds to her name. With additional training, Indigo will easily master many more words and phrases. This fluffy goofball definitely needs boundaries and structure, but she shows enormous potential and is all about pleasing her people. Indigo’s ideal family would be one that loves and honors huskies, as much as Indigo will love and honor them in return. Indigo is a beautiful dog who is ready to be the best companion everrrr. And those eyes…!!! If you would like to adopt this wonderful dog, please email rescue@pupstarzrescue.org or visit www.pupstarzrescue.org for an application!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Indigo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
