My story

Meet Red! Red is a little guy, estimated to be around 4 years old and likely a Pomeranian or Pom mix. Weighing in at about 10 pounds, he’s the perfect size for snuggles—and he absolutely loves them! He is what we call a velcro dog. Red's journey hasn’t been easy. He was found standing in the middle of the road after his previous owner, facing housing challenges, abandoned him and his companion. Thankfully, a kind-hearted stranger rescued them, and after a short stay in a temporary foster home, Red is now safe with us and ready for his next chapter. Red is settling in and adjusting to his new life. He has had a lot of changes and will need someone who can be patient as he builds trust and confidence. All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Adoption fee: $225 for all dogs and puppies.
