My story

Meet Piper! Piper is an approximately six-month-old mystery mutt puppy, looking for a forever home through Chi Town Rescue. Piper was found as a stray and no owner came forward. We had no idea what breed she was, so we DNA tested her... and found that Piper will be a big lady when she's fully grown! Piper currently weighs around 30 pounds and is a mix of 17 different breeds. Her top three percentages are: 20% American Pit Bull Terrier, 15% American Staffordshire Terrier, and 11% German Shepherd. Of course there's some Chihuahua sprinkled in there too! ;-)  Piper is a happy and well-socialized puppy, with both people and other dogs. She is always up for meeting a new human friend and loves to be cuddled and carried. Piper has a fun energy and loves to play-wrestle and run with her dog pals in the yard. She loves toys and especially loves squeaky toys! Piper is learning about things like potty training, toys/fetch, and leash training. She will need a patient home that is willing to continue her training and help her be the best adult doggy she can be.  Piper has brought us many smiles here at the rescue and we know she will bring extra joy to YOUR life too, if you adopt her!
