My story

Meet our sweet, gentle, and mellow little ray of sunshine Heidi, a 3-4 year old German shepherd-cattle dog mix, weighing a little over 40 lbs. This delightful girl was rescued from an overcrowded Central Valley shelter after she nursed her babies to health and sent them off to their forever homes. It’s now her turn to find a family that’ll spoil her forever and love her to pieces! Heidi is the ideal family dog! She absolutely loves everyone she meets - babies, kids, and grown-ups alike. She has a gentle disposition and is happy to quietly snooze all day or take brisk walks with the family. Heidi is great on the leash and an absolute joy to walk. A bonus - she’s already potty trained, crate trained and never makes a mess! She’s done great with every dog she’s met - she has the sweetest vibe and is loved by all! Heidi seems very cat curious and enjoys chasing squirrels with her canine foster brother. So we do think she has some prey drive. Greeting us with the coolest little howl, Heidi rolls over for belly rubs and pays it back with a ton of kisses. She “sits” for treats and loves her food. Heidi is one of the most easygoing dogs we’ve ever met. She’s spayed, vaccinated and all set to make your day, everyday!
