My story

🤎☕️🖤🌴🐾 Meet Mocha and Dunkin “Sato dogs” from Puerto Rico! A “Sato dog” refers to the mixed breed, stray dogs on the island. (Majority are small-medium size but some can be larger). Island dogs are smart, loyal, highly trainable, and thrive on routines and consistency. They have wonderful demeanors, make devoted companions, adjust well to their environments, and are a perfect mix of energetic and affectionate. There is no love like the love of an island dog. Mocha and Dunkin are from a litter of 8 who thankfully never experienced life on the streets, but they needed support on the east coast of PR. Their personality is shining bright and we are excited to see their confidence grow with love, patience, and time. They have done well at their residence in PR and are simply the cutest! When these two siblings arrive in their foster home in Pittsburgh, they will be fostered with four dogs, (two being Satos), two cats, and possibly other foster dog friends too! They will continue to/need continued work on puppy-training concepts including: Basic leash training, potty, crate, socialization, etc. As they are young, we see no problems interacting with kids- with slow/proper introduction. (We do know mom and dad of the litter- who are both about 25-30lbs).
