Ciana

My story

While there are so many dogs that need out of the shelter, we also have dogs in foster that need to get adopted! The more time we have to spend networking our dogs, the less time we have to help those in cages. One such great dog desperately in need of a home is Ciana, Aka Sui #A5300094. We rescued her from the Palmdale shelter on march 17, 2025. Unfortunately she does not have the luck of the irish and is in need of a temporary or forever home. She is well loved in her foster home; however, the fosters have adult children who bring their dogs to her home. Ciana is not a fan of that. She did well in playgroups at the shelter and was good meeting other dogs at the veterinarian office, so she is not dog aggressive. We need a new foster or adopter ASAP!!! The foster wants us to take her back. We are at capacity and can not do so. Our only other option will be to put her in boarding. We do not save these dogs to put them back in cages. that is not an option. please HELP AND FOSTER OR ADOPT!! PLEASE SHARE!!!   Ciana is a 10-year-old dog that was owner surrender, with staples in her head and shoulder on February 16, 2025 to the palmdale shelter. We were guessing there was a dog fight. She lost not only the fight but also a chance to have a home. She was a shelter favorite, but no one wanted her. The shelter gave her a deadline of March 17, 2025. Someone reached out to us and said they would foster. We jumped into action and rescued her on what would have been her last day on earth, March 17, 2025. She is an amazing dog. She was super friendly at the vet. She wanted to meet all  the dogs. She knows how to sit and shake! Unfortunately, her first foster home did not work out as it was loud with other dogs and teenage children.  The second foster home is also not working out.  While the fosters love her; the fostes adult children do not.  ##2441053##
