💕 Meet Sandie! 💕 This beautiful 18-pound Chihuahua mix was born in November 2023 and has already come such a long way. Found as a very pregnant stray, Sandie nearly ran out of time behind shelter walls—but we brought her into safety just in time for her to give birth in comfort and care. Now that her puppies are almost ready to head off to their forever homes, it’s Sandie’s turn to find a loving home of her own. Sandie is thriving in her foster home, where she soaks up affection, sunshine, and plenty of playtime. She gets along wonderfully with humans and her small foster brothers—wrestling, chasing, and squeaky-toy battles are daily events! She’s just as happy napping on the cool tile indoors as she is lounging on the warm ground outside. Her soft white and auburn coat, caramel eyes, and sweet personality make her impossible to resist. Sandie loves both gentle snuggles and a good game of roughhousing. (Bonus: she seems to have a soft spot for men!) She’s dog door trained, housebroken, and doesn’t require tall gates—she can barely hop onto the couch.
