My story

Meet Sandie — a sweet 1-year-old chiweenie whose journey nearly ended behind shelter walls. Found very pregnant as a stray, we took her in to give her a safe space to have her puppies. Huge thanks to her devoted foster for opening her home to Sandie and her soon-to-be newborn pups. Sandie now runs free in the backyard and gets lots of affection and treats from her foster. Sandie has a very gentle nature, and gets along great with all humans and her foster brothers (also small dogs). She loves the smallest squeaky toys and chew bones, and napping on the cool tile inside or warm ground outside. Her beautiful white and auburn coat and caramel colored eyes suggest she’ll have super cute puppies! Sweet Mama *Sandie* is doing an incredible job caring for her adorable Cookie Litter, born June 11, 2025! 💕 This loving Chihuahua mix mama is keeping her babies clean, fed, and snuggled while also enjoying some well-deserved “me time” — soaking up sunshine in the yard and playing with her foster brothers. 🌞🐕 She has such a gentle, sweet personality and never says no to a treat! 🍖💖 Her tiny cookie crew is growing fast and loves piling up for snuggles or wiggling their way around to find Mama.
